The story of The Maui Farm begins with a
group of community members gathered around a kitchen table talking about the
needs of youth in the foster care system. They envisioned a program that would
offer a consistent, stable environment and provide long-term care for youth who
were not successful in traditional foster care, helping them make the transition
to self-sufficiency and independent living.
