Mahalo to Our Supporters
The Maui
Farm would like give a special mahalo to:
·
Whole Foods
Market – Maui Mall for partnering with The Maui Farm and
providing exciting opportunities for our nonprofit organization!
· Friday,
April 30, 9 am - 1 pm Furlough "Fry" Day
Whole Foods Market invites families to spend their
Furlough "Fry" day together, enjoying a festive farmer's market,
cooking demonstrations by Chef David Paul of David
Paul's Island Grill, as well as container garden
demonstrations by The Maui Farm.
Chef
David Paul created the Furlough "Fry" day program as
an educational forum. Group participation, hands on
cooking lessons and food tasting will enlighten our
children about sustainable and local agriculture and
the farm to table programs.
·
The County

Strengthening Program serving families who are homeless and in
transition to self sufficiency, and the Malama`O Pono`i Training

Program serving young women who are transitioning to
self-sufficient living.

FY2010, including the McInerny Foundation, Hawaii Community
Foundation, Group 70 Fund, Kent &
Polli Smith Fund, The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg

Foundation.
·

Resources Conservation Service, for supporting our efforts to
implement environmentally-friendly practices and conservation
efforts on our farm and campus.
